European introduction: the Leader LV7330 Rasterizer, the indispensable tool for anyone working in broadcast

Leader introduces the LV7330 Rasterizer, a simple, lightweight and ultra compact 1U half-rack sized instrument. The depth and weight are reduced by about 40% compared with the previous model, and power consumption is reduced to 60% or lower. Therefore, this model contributes to the reduction of environmental pollution, a factor of ever increasing importance.

In addition to the basic functions (i.e., waveform monitor, vector scope, picture monitor, sound measurement capability, SDI status detector and four segment display), the LV7330 newly provides the squeeze function applicable to a wide monitor, now the standard model available in the market. The aspect ratio of 16:9 or 4:3 can be selected.

As a standard ‘Cinelite2' is now included in this model. The Cinelite2 package offers Cinelite, for accurate f-stop and colour tone measurement and CINEZONE for accurate luminance measurement to determine ‘hot spots' as well as low light areas.

Finally the LV7330 is standard equipped with loudness measurement for embedded audio, complying with ITU-R BS.1770-1, Loudness-F and Loudness-S scales. Most manufacturers sell this feature as an expensive option.
